What’s New?

Internal Wilderness grew out of my desire to expand beyond a format I had created, but clearly outgrew.

In a former online life, I used my nickname, “LucyD” and built a great community of readers and expert contributors to my site: OnlyTarot .  As time went on, I began to see that although the Tarot is the tool of choice for me – and I do love reading it – my search for answers was much wider than a discussion about one particular tool.

I’ve spent most of my life from my earliest years till today asking questions, going for the experience, and of course, writing to the experts – those authors of metaphysical, new age, spiritual, psychological and even scientific books – asking my burning questions.

As I began to interview people in the Tarot community, I realized that the discussion was sometimes too narrow for me.  I wanted to talk about some of the things I’d learned in my search – but why take it from me?  Why not listen to the experts – the Guides of the Internal Wilderness – who did their own heavy lifting and know the path intimately?

I began interviewing people that I’ve always wanted to talk to.  Individuals who blazed their own trails and reach out to the rest of us to come along.  It became obvious that  “OnlyTarot” was far too limiting a format for my ongoing search, and so Internal Wilderness was born.

I hope that you enjoy the adventure.  I’ve re-published most of the interviews from OnlyTarot here, on my “LucyD” page, and I promise to keep them coming.  My OnlyTarot website will disappear sometime near January 1, 2010.
