Do you ever wonder why I take so long between posts here on my site?
It’s always something important, but this time, I’ve got a story for you.
Last November I went to the Apple Store in Chicago to meet Susan Miller. Yes, the Susan Miller of Astrology Zone fame. The world-famous astrologer. Have you ever been to her website? When you read your (incredibly accurate) horoscopes there, you feel as if you just met a wonderful new best friend who loves you, wants to help you, and that you can trust.
I approached Susan that Saturday because I wanted to interview her for this site, but what happened after that, I could never have anticipated! I called Susan for the interview at her home in New York City, and instead of an interview, we talked for over an hour about our childhoods, our lives and all of the things that astrology has brought into her life. Part of that discussion centered around a live event she had scheduled in New York for the end of January, and I asked her if she’d ever consider doing a similar gathering in Chicago.
Her reply was very earnest: “I would LOVE to do a day-long gathering in Chicago! There are so many people interested in astrology in the Midwest - but I don’t know anyone who lives there to help me put it together.” As you’ve probably guessed, I stepped right up.
This past month, Susan, her agent and I have been working with the Drake Hotel in Chicago to bring you an all-day event with Susan on Sunday, March 21st! This is such a rare occasion! It’s never happened before, and we’d love for it to happen again!!
The day will begin with registration at 9:30, a Continental Breakfast once you’ve checked in, and the seminar will begin promptly at 10:00. Susan will speak on the year 2010 from many angles for two hours, taking many audience questions.
We’ll then break for a three-course, two hour long lunch during which Susan will circulate among the tables to say hello. The luncheon is included in the ticket price.
After lunch, we’ll meet again at 2:00 pm and Susan will speak until 4:00. Susan’s presentations are always lively, funny and packed full of real information that you can use. And she loves to take audience questions!
At 4:00 pm Susan will sign books for an hour or so, and then our day will be complete.

Now, here’s a little secret I learned when I saw Susan at the Apple Store: find out what your Rising Sign is before you come to the Drake. Audience members at the Apple Store, when chosen to ask their question, would always begin with, “I’m a Taurus with Virgo Rising,” or whatever their sign combination happened to be. It turns out that Susan can give you a much more accurate answer to any personal question you may have if she knows your Rising Sign as well as your Sun Sign.
How do you find out your Rising Sign?
You must know the date, time and place of your birth. There are many websites that will calculate this for you. I use Astro.com. Find out this information before you come to Susan’s event in Chicago. It will make a huge difference in the information she can give you.
Seating is VERY LIMITED and tickets will only be available for a short time. So come down to the Drake Hotel. You’ll have a chance to meet Susan Miller – she is such a treat – and I’d love to meet you, too!
